MLL Partnership

Become a "MLL Park and Rec Partner"

As leaders in parks and recreation research, MLL is launching a brand new program in response to an ongoing need in the parks and recreation industry. It is increasingly becoming clear that parks and recreation service providers must have current, ongoing, reliable and consistent information about the recreation-related behavior and attitudes of their constituents. Agencies often look for good tools to collect information that is critical to optimized performance by the agency. "Comprehensive needs assessments" conducted every five or ten years, provide some answers but they are often too far spread apart. Yet, in an age of high technology, on-time and current market research and consumer information is critical to parks and recreation service providers.

Forming a partnership with MLL provides a convenient option

The "MLL Park and Rec Partner" programs which is set up starting with a twelve month partnership will provide the parks and recreation agency with the following:
  1. Questionnaires that can be distributed to users of parks and recreation facilities
  2. Questionnaires that can be handed out at special events such as 4th of July events
  3. Questionnaires that can be distributed at malls, schools and religious institutions
  4. Data entry of the completed questionnaires
  5. Ongoing analysis of the data
  6. Periodic reports (as frequently as once a month) showing the data trends
  7. Three-monthly presentation of results to trace the changes in the data
  8. Final presentation of results at the end of each 12-month partnership period
  9. Ongoing recommendations and action plan statements
  10. Latest version of the CompuRec program with training and ongoing support
  11. Electronic delivery of the CompuRec formatted data on a periodic basis
  12. Site-visit by MLL personnel for discussion with staff about the questionnaires
